Vinyl cutting custom stickers from vector art
The software that came with the vinyl cutter isn’t that great. Essentially our workflow is creating vector graphics as SVG files from Inkscape. From there we save them as EPS files and then import the EPS files into the cutting software. Once in the cutting software we can make some minor alterations and duplicate regions.
This workflow isn’t the best, and we still have a good bit to learn, but I’ve documented some of our recent progress with various vector designs. We cut stickers of the PHP, Apple, Ubuntu, and Sith emblem.
